This is my contest entry to the Lupine contest on Pony Island. |3 The themes included Summer/Winter and Light/Dark. This is actually more aimed towards the light and dark theme, using a darker colored Lupine and a lighter colored ones. Both of these are renditions of some of the pretty Lupines for prizes, so their look alikes haven't found homes yet.
I do wish that I could have created a more elaborate background, but sadly, there wasn't enough time before the contest ended to do that. Ah well.
This thing took more than seven hours (six hours straight!) to put together, so I'm glad of how well it turned out. XD
The winners should hopefully be announced within a couple days, so wish me luck!
Wow, Elisabeth. Even without having been able to do as much with the background as you would've liked, you still managed to turn out yet another great piece of artwork. What's with the text on the red one's paws? That there for a reason that my blind eyes can't read? XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
